Scylla was a greek monster from Homer's Odyssey its a proper name, really not a monster type. her name was Scylla and glancing at greek pots she appears to have wolf heads out the lower front and tentacles out the back and a human female on the top.
@Red 255 While I do love,my pedantry, it's important to remember not even the greeks could decide on how they wanted their mobsters to work. Just look at Medusa's backstory(ies). japan also has used the term scylla to refer to cephalopod girls enough times it becomes a common noun so there's that. also Hroz referenced the OG design anyways.
