This story is great. I love the dystopian abuse of power and the betrayal twist at the end makes it just so perfect. I would have loved for this to be a much longer story with more elaborate training scenes and our protagonist working hard to try to complete the training while holding Saki in his heart as his goal that would make everything worthwhile and the thread helping him hold onto hope and sanity.
