I hate this, but some part of me just wants to finish the story for closure, and I hate that too. How the fuck is the ending going to work? Does Link "save" the world by leaving it barren of life? I guess a small comfort is that technically everything gets reset after Ganon is defeated (except for the Great Fairy), though what happens after that is anyone's guess... Like, the crisis is averted, but the monster is still alive out there...
