The release date given must be wrong, I notice a website link in the credits page and this is very unlikely to exist in 1989 :P

Yeah, based on the 8/29 entry of http://www.katsudon.com/news00.htm , this book was created for the summer Comiket of 1998, but wasn't quite in time. Instead, it was released at a later con, but I wasn't able to confirm the name/date of that one. I submitted a date change on doujinshi.org, but who knows if it will be accepted.
