SexStarvedMutie you may not realise this but that used to never happen. It was only a recent trend where the lifeless husk thing was popular. There is over 5 years of wholesome succubus content that has existed before. Look at some of the older stuff if you want to find the wholesome stuff.

Your main issue finding wholesome succubus content is even if it is wholesome they dont use the vanilla tag for some reason. No idea why but there are even more out there.
But its terribly incorrect to say life drain is the majority of succubus content it's just been recently popularised. I wish you luck in your search signing off

@SexStarvedMutie true it can get repetitive depending on how it's done. What I've allways wanted to see is a proper corruption story from the perspective of the succubus. I imagine a girl in the occult club getting bullied for her weird hobbies so out of revenge she tries to cast some kind of spell but ends up turning herself into a succubus. She at first takes her revenge on her bullies by draining their boyfriends and forcing them to watch. But her hunger drives her mad and she ends up sucking the entire shcool dry. All the while she has this sence of guilt and addiction. Usualy life drain stories take a more interesting tone when the predator is the protagonist

I've been thinking about it and it's actually quite a shame that stories like this one seem to be so much of a rarity.
In most doujins I know, succubi are usually either "harmless" cum addicts with horns or they keep their prey as energy dispensers if they don't outright suck them dry.

This one kinda implies that succubi in general are a lethal threat that sees humans as food whereas she develops real feelings for the MC and cares about him by living an adventurers life together instead of just locking him up somewhere and fucking his brains out until he dies of old age.
I don't really recall a lot of other succubi doujins doing this.
