Ash & Rikku Lover was a user on ImageFap that uploaded cards with scenarios on them for Finfal Fantasy characters. I can't remember when exactly I saw these. It was many years ago. I checked and saw that his ImageFap page is completely gone now. Lucky for me I saved these pics on my computer. I figured that I might as well share them
Nice find... wonder where you got these from? :) The site I originally put them up on was FF Hentai World. At least that was it's name about 8-10 years ago. I rleased these about one a month as just something to do. It just took off from there. The admin eventually purged the forums as only myself an 2-3 others used them. I used ImageFap as backup during that time since things would be deleted magically in the forums at times. Later, I just left Imagefap because no one seemed to care. Glad to know after all this time someone did... and for the record. It's Ashe & Rikku Lover, or AaRL for short! :)
Edit: You wouldn't happen to have my fan fic stories that I wrote for that site, would you?
Awesome! I'm glad to know that you are alive =) You how the internet is with an artist disappearing.
Unfortunately, this gallery is all that I have of your work. All I know is that once upon a time, that gallery was the hottest thing for lil' ol' young me. Most people might see them as just a small thing, but now it has a strong sense of nostalgia for me.
I'm a bit of a paranoid when it come to online content. People believe that things that are online now will stay online forever, but things do disappear. I try to save as much as I can locally. But I didn't even know that you had fic stories!
So I saw that the ImageFap gallery disappeared, and I thought that if I hadn't saved those pics, I would be so frustrated at the loss of content that I used to love so much. So then I thought that there might be others who didn't save them locally and miss them right now.
Anyway, thanks for making those. Know that at some point, there was at least one small degenerate that had them at the top of his spankbank.
Yea! If I've learned anything over the years. It's save everything you like, or create offline in different spots. Do not rely on Cloud backups, or just one offline archive. Things are built to break and easily be compromised nowadays. Not so much back then. I've lost TBs worth of videos, doujins, stories and other goodies over the years that simply do not exist anymore, or are easily found. I was born from a day where you waited 30 minutes for an 3 minute .mp3 to download and hoped your family didn't pick up the phone to kill the connection. You had to earn that shit!
As for my long lost ImageFap account, I left after my account became compromised. (plus the endless spamming of PMs from people wishing to "trade" for other English content) Someone finally cracked my account and altered a lot of my folders. Mostly the doujins. Had close to 200 at the time which were hard to find given there weren't as many translators or commissions back then. By the time I got back in, nearly everyone one of them were out of order. Sure I had them but I couldn't sort out ~200 folders with 20~30 pictures each with random file names. ImageFap did nothing but reset my password and "dealt" with the culprit... sure. The damage had already been done. It was a tough lesson to learn. Save often. Save every thing. Like with these cards, I thought these were lost to time. I had only the Rydia card somehow tucked away on a 1GB Flash Drive in a shoe box full of them. Tells you how old this is.
Still, I'm glad you enjoyed them even though I can admit these are subpar by any standard today. I took my love of Pokemon and Final Fantasy and combined them. I liked making them. A few other's did too... and now one more it seems. Thanks again for the long over do decade long support my friend. In today's market, you don't find that anymore. It's just over saturated and water downed IMO. People don't care about what they have, they care about only what's next
Sure they are subpar by today's standards (this gallery has only 1.6 stars atm) but there was a time when it wasn't. There was a time when DarkSilver made the hottest art and "Yuna a la Mode" was the highest quality doujin you could get. The internet was different back then. And I do think that this piece of history needs to be preserved.
"People would forget what you wrote in the doujin, but they'll never forget how it made them cum" - Sun Tsu
Ive heard about these but never seen them before and I think they are really cool I also know the harsh reality of things no longer existing it gets anoying and I agree that this pieceof history should be preserved im also a fan of finaly fantasy and pokemon.
