i think thats why i like Netori. the MC is often a guy thats "justifed" and often not too much of either a playboy or an ugly bastard and the guy losing the girl is virtually non-existant and their emotions are almost never touched on at all

The story is told from the girl perspective, which clearly is in love with the boy she started dating after the time skip. Though they were childhood friends, at some point her relation which the "netori guy/childhood friend" got severed and now they belong to complete different school clique.

The netori friend uses the past and her now weak personality to blackmail her into having sex. After the hotel scene he keeps fucking the "childhood friend" while feeling guilty because she still loves the boyfried, but admitting she can't go without the sex.
