The point of bullying is bullying. As someone who has experienced it quite a fair bit over a long period of time, I can tell that bullies - and I do mean ACTUAL bullies, not people who tell you to stop being creepy or w/e - don't give an iota of a fuck what the reason for their actions is, it can be clothes, it can be your voice, it can be a skin condition, whatever there is to be latched on to - the purpose is always to put someone down or drive them to shut themselves out of a given social circle.

If bullies want to grief you, any reason will work for them, no matter how trivial and stupid. And since bullies are also ignorant as fuck (it comes in the job description), they would have no clue about a rare medical condition and see someone with it as a weird freak to harass.
