An interesting enough premise, to be sure, and pretty good fap material, otherwise. That said, I thought it was funny that the author threw in the bit about the ejected souls retaining vague memories from their previous selves. Clearly, they weren't okay with the complete and total erasure of two unknowing individuals, even if the outcome isn't much different, regardless, though I suppose it lends itself better to the lighthearted nature of the story.

that's an interesting take on possession to avoid the whole "Wait, isn't this technically murder?" problem.
Just the original soul still experiences life without much turbulence while the hijacker appreciates the new body so perception-wise, it's a net gain. I get the feeling this idea will inevitably be twisted and someone will use it in a story involving some character who suffers from several sources of abuse, throwing someone unrelated under the bus to where now they suffer with the vague recollection of things being better before. Though if the one possessed is a perpetrator then I guess it becomes less dark and more of a power fantasy.

Honestly; I prefer this you’re of possession, at least the girl’s souls aren’t trapped in their body or been mutated into slime or skin suits. They are living lives as boys and might end up becoming gay since they are girl spirits in boy bodies. Granted their memories are altered but still a better outcome than most possession stories.

Hmm. Ok. First off, these guys, GAE. Second off, in my opinion the reason why the ending is a little dark is mostly because the two girls were forced to become guys, with their memories, and little reminders of their female self. It’s just unfair because the guys get girls bodies without basically becoming them. The girls however, weren’t given a choice and are forced to become them. I think if they end up dating that’d be much better.

Hang on, I just realised. If the girls think they are the boys, and have their memories, wouldn’t that also include the memory of them using the potion to possess their bodies? Meaning they could just repeat the same thing to get their body back, or just remember who they used to be in general?
