Those of you looking at these comments for the first time should keep in mind that the post on the forum that's the cause of all this *sturm und drang* is THREE YEARS OLD. For the record, I have been studying, and my Japanese, while still not perfect, has improved greatly since then: if I still use the web, it's only to look up a kanji I'm not familiar with, no different than looking up a word in a dictionary. I can read hiragana and katakana and have studied to the point where I have a decent understanding of basic grammar, and as my Japanese tutor pointed out, hentai is not exactly a haven for high prose.

I also want to apologize for asking for money like I did back then: at the time I was having some financial issues and I could have used the extra cash. It was wrong for me to do so, and if it makes anyone feel any better, no one ever took me up on it, and I no longer ask. I translate what I like, and I'm happy to share.
