Years ago I really I thought cosplayers actually liked their characters or what they represented but, that's far from the reality, mostly of the "professional" cosplayers only looks the visual and nothing else matters for them.

While I lost some respect for some because of it, it also made easy to me to accept their reality, now that isn't a problem for me anymore and I can separate the two things, who is doing because they like the character and who is only making for the sake of visuals.

No always, there are a lot of cosplayers that do it just as a hobby without getting any money and it's the same with them. I'm just explaining that some cosplayers just want the visual, they don't care about anything else.
