Reminds me of that Doujin where the Step-Sister "supposedly hated" the step-brother, and tried to get evidence to frame her in raping her, all because she wanted their parents to divorce, because she fell in love with him, but they couldn't become a couple if their parents marry, as they would become step-brothers.

Sibling/half-sibling have blood relate by same 2 parents for sibling, same mother or father for half-sibling. Step-sibling have no blood relate.

"sibling" and "half-sibling" are not the same as "step-sibling".
