@ ssj782 Glad you liked it! That 2-part short story arc was very popular with our Defenders! (Shame we don't have a Part 3 scripted... yet) If you're interested, the site has variant versions where Mrs. Tendou is either fully solid, or else still transparent, but not tinted such a ghostly blue. ;)

@ Drax. Well, "old" is relative. The gallery we were updating until a year ago is perma-locked now, and soon to be deleted, so I've brought that stuff over. Every time you see this gallery pop up though, it will be with something new at the front.

Partly that's in reference to a sort of running joke at RHB, that's developed over many years of fan requests, that Ukyou is the girl most-often chosen for sex with strange creatures or monsters. Demons, tentacle monsters, mutant animals, Fish-men from the deep... Ukyou's sexual resume looks more like a Halloween party! We don't know WHY it turned out that way, except that big fans of monster sex and big fans of Ukyou seem to intersect. :P

Well, that specific pinup was a one-shot concept (one of my own, actually; glad you liked it! ^_^ ) but we've found LOTS of reasons to get Ranma into bed with his own girl-side over the years, often using the Mirror Twin mechanic, to get more than one redhead at once, and a few even more creative methods. Though if it's THIS specific way of getting more redheads together that's exciting to you, there are ways to bring it back. Not to be too blatant about plugging our site where we MAKE all this hot content, but if you joined up with us, you'd be entitled to request any pinup you like be produced (within certain reasonable limits). If you have a good idea for where else to take this idea, we can make it happen together, and the author credit would go to YOU! ^_^

While we have rebooted some of the early, oldest chapters of The Hentai Zone, not only polishing up the writing a little bit and the art a LOT, there are no plans to re-do one of our most-recent and highest-art-standard, not to mention incredibly lengthy narrative book chapters.
However, since I presume you are a Defender, you certainly have the option of making a free Fan Request pinup of an alternate version of the scene in question, to rub a balm on your idea of "the way it should have been". Best part of that solution is it results in MORE sexy Ranma art! :D
@ Illya #2. Unfortunately we can't cater entire projects to the whim of a single person... unless said person is the author of said project (We call those Comic Lords, and they've EARNED the right to have us make their own storylines. ) Your personal dislike of one particular character is unfortunate, if it keeps you from enjoying the series, but expecting us to re-write an entire multi-chapter storyline and redraw 50+pages of expensive comics just to keep your single subscription is pretty unrealistic. Do you also email the producers of major blockbuster films like Avengers and ask them to remake the movie to your specifications if they expect you to buy another ticket for the next film? Grow up.
@ Illya #3 You'd lose that bet. The vast majority of Defenders quite enjoy THZ4 as it is. You're the first person I've ever heard voicing a complaint about Ryouga's inclusion in a series that was intended from the start to be a sexy fun-house mirror of the canon, including Ryouga showing up, right about the same time. The only other person I've heard complain more than once about the series is a fellow bothered that we don't draw cartoon boobies with the exacting consistency of real life... and even he isn't trying to stage a 1-man boycott over it. >_>
@Illya #4. In fact, we have a pretty active forum filled with uncommonly mature and decent people. We do not ban people for disagreeing with a storyline. We HAVE (on extremely rare occasions) banned people for ceaseless and relentless hostility and negativity. If you joined our group, voiced your opinions, they'd be heard, discussed, debated fairly (much as we've done here). If you were a site subscriber, you'd would absolutely have the right and ability to request a pinup made (or several, over time) depicting scenes you'd rather have had in a different direction than THZ was written to go, but a full re-write and recreation of the THZ storyline (which would cost somewhere in the range of $15,000-30,000 USD, depending on how many pages we're talking) simply to exclude one character that YOU personally dislike, is not reasonable, rational, or feasible.
You HAVE been heard and listened to here. We've even made it clear to you how far we're willing to go to meet you halfway, though you scorned even that. That we're not all going to jump up and make all your wishes come true is not the same thing as disrespecting you, and "listening to you" is not the same thing as "obeying you", as though we had any obligation to the latter. A pinup would not be enough. The story with Ryouga is boring and not sexy at all. I hate Ryouga.
This is why I suggested an alternative chapter 4. Not a pinup but a diverging timeline so that the story could then go two ways.
I.E chapter 5 would be split and have two versions.

Or, if that doesn't work. Simply make it it a "Bobby is in the shower", where Akane wakes up and finds out that the sex scene with Ranma was just her wet dream.
As for being a defender, the Ryouga part made me lose interest in supporting the site. It ruined the whole story for me seeing as I was paying because I liked the hentai zone.
Why would I want to pay for something that was ruined? It is this kind of feeling that I have right now.

Well, considering some of the trash that have been added to a lot ofilms lately, rebooting some of them wouldn't be such a bad idea. I mean they decided to make a real Ghost Buster's 3, so there is that.

Who said anything about them not enjoying what was already posted? What I was saying was that I was willing to bet they would love an alternative chapter. More art is better. And yes, I'd say that they enjoyed it because there was sex in it, not because Ryouga was there. It isn't a sexy funny inclusion mirror of the canon. Ryouga was always pathetic more so than anyone else. If you wanted to make it sexy and fun, you should have highlighted how bad at sex he was. Had him get lost during sex and cum on a girls eyes. Could have included the whole "My eyes!!" joke. Akane is four times the man Ryouga is. Him being pathetic and even more of a loser than Gosenkugi was what made him funny. Ranma had less respect for him than he did Kunou. This is canon. There was absolute zero chemistry between Ryouga and Ranma in the canon, the only thing we had was the koi rod incident. Akane always felt sorry for Ryouga but that was it. So no, this is not a mirror, it is just twisted and OOC. Well, most people don't voice their complaints out of fear that they will get in an argument or look whiny. Also, they are probably afraid that they will get permabanned. A LOT of artists groups will ban and block anyone that criticize them even if they say and even ask people to critique them.

Part 4. As for Ryouga, if you wanted him to have sex with anyone it should have been with Akane. In the manga he always went after Akane so he should have done so in the comic as well. I am just disgusted and even more so that you wont do a story that fixes this boring "done to death" Ryouga storyline.

No, that is only because they incorrectly believe that Ryouga is an actual rival for Ranma. Ryouga stopped being Ranma's real rival around the story with the roasting chestnuts. Even the Shishi hokadan storyline wasn't really a rival story but just used as a means give Ranma a chi-attack. I mentioned this earlier, but people much like myself loved the koi-rod storyline. In that story we wanted Ranma to have sex with Ryoga, or simply Ranma to continue being in love with Ryouga. But this wasn't because of Ryouga but because that story was so sexy and felt almost like it belonged in hentai story. But that was it. Peopel don't want Ryouga to fuck Ranma, they want a manly man to fuck Ryouga. People incorrectly (because of fanon and that koi rod story) believe that Ryouga is manly.
Yes the first story was called OOC, because it was a story that basically said that the characters were all OOC. This other project however was supposed to be basically the manga + some porn ideas thrown in. Making Akane a nympho slut could have been handled better, but at least in her case it can be explained with her having been trained since a child and going to a sex school... but Ryouga wasn't like this and neither were Ranma. So his reaction was just crap.
Yes the wrong hole gag had been used in an older comic, but it wasn't used to its fullest potential. The "hole gag" was actually used in old rpgs and make your own addventure writings being the "Ranma origin" (the jokes were used in other stuff before Ranma though), so it wasn't a new one... BUT, it wasn't overused and was actually something that is fitting for the character. Ryouga is pathetic, a loser and has no directional sense. So when you make jokes with him, this is what you have to work with.
But no, Hinoron replied only to tell me that they wouldn't fix what needed to fixed. It wasn't a "We will take your advice and do as you say" but rather a "fuck you!". So No, my voice did go unheard and was ignored. As for demand, people that dislike the dumb Ryouga storyline wouldn't pay or be members, in fact they wouldn't visit those forums. So you have an echo chamber over there. There is no need for other people to ask for anything if I would finance it though. All you had to to do was host it and make it a official part of the story.
And you really think I wouldn't be banned from the forums if I started arguing over there? If i made a post and said "please fix this trash storyline" (or something like that), you think they would take kindly to it?

@Ilyia there have been a lot of people(make that majority) in the fandom who loves Ryoga getting it on with female-Ranma, and it’s funny that you mention that it’s OOC as the groups first collection of projects was ironically called “out of character, and the theme has worked extremely well as it’s reaching nearly two decades worth of material just by going along with that mindset. and granted the “my eyes!” Joke hadn’t been used but the “wrong hole!” Gag had been used in one of the older comics.

Your voice does not go unheard, otherwise Hinoron wouldn’t have bothered to answer you at all, just that 1 person asking for a different version won’t go far unless it’s in high demand from a vast majority who sub to the site and make it known in the suggestions/ideas sub topic on the forums

I am torn with regards to what I think of your site/group. I appreciate that you are trying to make the artists be able to make a living, but I dislike the fact that you issue take downs/DNP for even older stuff. It's one thing to protect new releases, for a year or even several, but there's stuff you have done 10+ years ago that is still DNP, and that is IMHO too long. If you would ever revise your policy in this and make your old content free after 5-10 years, I'd become your member/defender, but as things stands, I can't justify supporting you as I believe that unmoderated paywalls and take downs are a cancer in the community.
