I only speak for myself here but seeing urban slang like LOL in manga text always hits me with cringe. I guess the Japanese equivalent would be w though.

@Mikufanboy well in Japanese he is using W so I guess LOL is the closest equivalent else could have used HAHA but it does not carry the same punch..

Would be hilarious if we get an NTR sequel where the otaku boy has a bigger dick than the chad.

I don't get how its NTR if the "MC" never took a swing. Seems more like someone missed the dinner train.

@quanbe so you are saying, those who never even try to get a girlfriend because they never approach a girl, won't have a girlfriend?

My god, the black pill is real. I always thought that shitters didn't have girlfriends because of their rotten personality, weird views on girls, they never try to improve themselves, and never get out of their self-deprecating hole, it's because of facial bone structure.

Thanks for sharing this usuckme.

I have to agree with Mikufanboy about the 'LOL' slang use, especially in speech bubbles unless the characters are actually saying, 'LOL'.
If I did the translating, then I would put in '(laughter)', '(laughing)', or just write out the laughter.

Anyway, was the original script a machine translation? The girl's speech bubble on the bottom right of the 1st page almost looks as though she is trying to say 2 unrelated things. First is, 'I could laugh' (at your hairstyle), and the second thing is, 'I've always been watching you, you know?'
(The guy's speech bubble previously could be changed to, 'You noticed?')

Human language translation is much more complex than simple code translation like Morse Code because the translator must translate the MEANING of words. Also, the translator does not need to use any of the original foreign words to get the meaning across.
I don't know what the original Japanese words were and I can't speak Japanese, but it looks like the speech bubble would be better off written as:
"It looks strange because I'm used to the old way." or "I'm used to seeing you with the old hairstyle."

@Savage511 I grabbed the translations from gelbooru or something similar don't know if they were MTL or not. as for the text in bottom right bubble, I think I could have added the punctuation mark to make more sense but it's like
I could (smiling) - this answer to his questions that she noted/ could tell his hairstyle changed.
and then she says I am always watching you - this is the reason why she could tell.

PS: Why can't I vote comments???

@metalsensei: LMFAO imagine believing the fucking personality meme. You must be a teenager or mentally deficient. Newsflash: personality doesn't mean shit to women. Look at Jeremy Meeks or any handsome fucking serial killer for examples; I'm sure they all had "great personalities" to get dozens of women adoring them lol. All women care about are height, face, and frame. There have been countless studies on this, educate yourself retard.

@usuckme
Thanks for the reply.
I just thought the 'I'm always looking at you, you know?' words didn't seem to flow naturally in the conversation.

Most people give the casual, standard reply of, 'You noticed?' after being asked about something new about you even though it is actually a redundant thing to say; It's really just an offhand way of saying something like, 'That's right. Please continue.'
After that, the usual way the other person responds would be to either ignore the redundant question and continue the conversation or just acknowledge it with 'Yeah', before continuing.

The situation in the story goes like this:
-A girl (who must see the guy almost everyday because they are classmates) tries to start a conversation with the guy with, 'Oh, so you changed your hairstyle.'
-Then the guy responds with the casual, 'You noticed?' reply.
-The girl then replies with, 'Of course, I'm always watching you.' (Her reply makes no sense because she doesn't have to watch him all the time to know about the hairstyle change since they are classmates.)
-At this point, the guy (and anyone in this situation) would be thinking something like, 'What?? Where the hell did that come from? She's always watching me?'
But then the girl just continues on about the hair.

This quirk, and the overuse of laughter (almost all of it is unnecessary) makes the dialogue in the story really weird.
I don't know. Maybe the real problem is just that the author doesn't know how to write dialogue which sounds natural.
