My first scanlation, really nervous about people finding stuff that the proofreaders missed but should still be pretty good, especially form a first scanlation.

This was scanlated for Pururin.to and uploaded here a day later, I'll probably be continuing with some minor timed exclusivity just to keep ahead of more lazy e-hentai derivative sites but never much because I don't want sadpanda to miss out a lot just because NH exists.

Just noticed that you didn't download the original resolution from raws, as yours is 1450 x 2048 while the raws are 2149 x 3035. Always download from archive or torrent.
For typesetting, you literally forgot to apply stroke (the white border around text) to every one of the dialogue, and your text leading (the distance of the vertical space) is OFF the charts.

@NSFWSB downloaded archive at the right resolution, never realized the ones I got back from editor were lower resolution, I would assume its some automatic form of compression on their software they'd have to disable.

I'll pass the advice on text leading on as well, I'm absolutely fucking clueless on editing myself and I'm not sure if they forgot or didn't know.

Thanks a lot for the pointers, honestly think the biggest lesson I've learned from my first dip into scanlating is that I really need to seek out the nitpicks as proofreaders because most people will just say "seems good to me". We ended up rephrasing a few lines halfway through the proofreading period (like "I was scared"->"I was worried") to make them read a bit more natural because we were more picky about that than the proofreaders and the people that did leave feedback were all on the punctuation never on the editing.

Edit: talked it over with them, we're not sure where the resolution change happened, we're calling a "close enough" on quality for this one instead of redoing it but next time we'll experiment around a bit to figure out how we can stop their software from doing that, stroke wasn't done because of personal preference.

@Lyncs Clearly you have not read comment you're replying to, as I have stated downloading the archive here at the right resolution, it was messed up during editing.

I'm not saying its a fucking masterpiece or anything, merely that its a step above what most first time scanlators start with when it comes to "the usual mistakes" because I've seen plenty of comment sections here to know the usual issues and I'm not gonna make my editor redo the whole thing for an issue none of the proof-readers cared to bring up while it was still WIP.

You're welcome to redo the decensoring and typesetting yourself if you think it has that much more priority over providing more content or patching up galleries that are an absolute fucking mess instead of a bit resized.

Ok Erseaselle looked into stuff, apparently the resolution got messed up in the process of packing it up to send to me so they have it right (non guarantees till I've seen it for myself but I'll take their word) and pulled in Oboro (the other scanlator on Pururin server) to polish up the editing even more if we were going to reupload anyway.

Line spacing became a lot clearer to me when I was looking into other things, Erseaselle liked it this large, I requested to compromise at a 30-50% reduction but we barely dwelled on it before moving to the other things so I have no clue if it was actually done or not.

We don't really like stroke that much as the outline looks like someone overdid the cleaning but we managed to finetune the thickness to a point where it should work out.

Text has been nudged aside in a few cases where it blend into the background awkwardly.

Its 4am here, I'm tired and I haven't gotten to see the new version in full yet (and I've probably seen it so much that I've become sorta blind to it at this point anyway), I'm expecting to have files for reupload tomorrow.
