A bad translation is SIGNIFICANTLY worse than no translation.If no one works on it for a long time, like literally over a year, sure, maybe then someone unqualified could do it since no one else will... But that's really only okay for doujins since there's hardly any plot anyway.
The issue with bad translations is that the vast majority of the time no one is going to upload a better version, thus the doujin is stuck like this forever.

You mentioned in the TL afterword that you're not a native English (I assume) or Japanese speaker. In that case, you really need to find someone to proofread your work, as mentioned above.
