@Moogabe and @Wolfand I agree, compared to his current art, it seems dated, but it has a classic feel to it.
Not an expert, but the way I would put it: the explicit manga of the 80s inspired the American artists of the 80s and 90's, and those inspired the webcomics of the 2000s and 2010s. Another good example is Joseco's Anathema from about 2005 I think. In TRW, Reinbach really shows a more individualistic style, slightly more comedic, cartoony, and adaptive, some of which reminds me of the genre stuff FLCL did, like the chibi or exaggerated faces.

I don't think I'd redraw it, the harshness and shading fits the story pretty well. The only thing I have a problem with is the inconsistent body shapes, does Casey have a butt or not, and how thick is her mom?
