I know it was a while ago I saw the movie... but I don't remember things going this way...

Apparently there's several names for the large swamp area depending on what source is used. The literal translation of the Kanjis used is Rot (海) and Sea (腐), which makes Sea of Decay very close. But apparently the official translation of the manga is either Sea of Corruption and in the American-English dub and sub of the movie, it has gotten the name Toxic Jungle. Neither Corruption or Toxic is really the same as Decay or Rot.

Oh, it's definitely from something. Nausicaa is one of Hayato Miyazaki's earliest works, and helped prove that "Castle of Caligastro" wasn't a one-off. This volume actually follows the movie's plot quite a bit, judging by the images -- it's just that in this version, the main heroine is a nudist who loves sex.

Edit: In fact, on closer inspection, everyone in this version is a horny exhibitionist -- we just focus on the main heroine, for obvious reasons.
