I would have liked seeing more stuff on washes being used to emphasize seams before the major sections are painted as well as washes being applied after sections are painted.
by emphasizing seams, you mean the one on page 82? that one was advising against doing panel washing while the parts are assembled to avoid the panel accent from flowing into the seam and highlighting it- which you wasnt supposed to do for seams that aren't molded as panel line. and in case if you accidentally did it, you should clean it with enamel thinner.
in fact letting panel accent to flow into seamlines and pool inside, possibly seeping into peg holes etc can cause serious damage to the plastic from within, as i've painfully experienced once.
