@redbone To be more precise, the 正妻空母 in the title translates literally to Aircraft Carrier Wife. I do not play Kancolle nor was I aware that there is a significant difference between a Battleship and a Warship, I simply thought "Battleship Wife" sounded better in my head. Thank you for clarifying

A warship is not a specific class of ship, basically any ship that is primarily for combat purposes is a warship. From the smallest corvette to dreadnoughts or carriers and everything in-between.

A battleship is a specific type of warship. Though, as you say, the name has gravitas.
