Last time on Scooby Doo, Mystery Inc. lost their friend Velma to a tar monster. It hasn't been the same without her. It wouldn't be right if we didn't check in on Daphne and see how she's doing, yeah? That's the kind thing to do. Unfortunately, I ​also​ decided to mash her up with one of horror films' greatest "monsters", Freddie Krueger himself. In the third movie of the long-running series, a girl is almost devoured by a snake-like form of Freddie. It's a shame she was saved. I think Freddie wanted to give that form another go...

"Some time after the demise of Velma Dinkley in the sloppy jaws of the Tar Monster, the gang is back at it—chasing mysteries and rumors of monsters. This time, they're investigating a series of unsolved murders on Elm Street. After a week with little to no progress made, Daphne Blake is starting to doubt their ability to solve this mystery, and starting to miss her deceased friend. But when a sudden spell of fatigue overcomes her and she sits down to rest her eyes, she finds herself transported inside a dollhouse, where all the answers await.
