Are you sure these are not downscaled? It's perfectly possible to miss the "view full resolution image" on sites like enty.

Everything here was released in ZIP files so any downscaling was by the artist.

When comparing actual quality, not resolution, this one looks like digital source, and the other upscaled from this during printing. Except those strange tile artifacts on black&white pages. It looks like they got a little corrupted when saving.

If those artifacts are removed this version would be better.
