The top part of page 20 actually had me a little worried.
If, after all this waiting, Black Widow (of all people) managed to kill his guy, I was going to have to learn to draw and make a different ending for this.

I know the purpose of this is the guro, and as a guro fan I've enjoyed and appreciated this comic for years. But even I wish super girl killed the damn thing, even if she dies in the process just to keep the guro theme going up until the end. But it would be a fresh and very rare turn of events (At least in the guro genre) if the thing was actually defeated by the end.
