@hentailover6983 that's a pretty good question, I personally always saw chicks get fucked by monsters so I never considered goblins it's own thing, they are just monsters in my eyes, but it is a bit interesting to wonder what started the trope specifically of goblins.

@dragonfly82 there has always been a steady supply of goblin rape in hentai before goblin slayer, and I don't think I even saw an uptick in goblin related porn since that got released so I would disagree with the sentiment that it popularized it.
