This one took awhile because I was conflicted wether it'd be worth it to try and replicate all the font changes the original does. I ended up doing so but it looked very convoluted and most font decisions didn't make much sense so easily so I opted for trying a middle ground instead by unifying several fonts. Thanks to DB scans for letting me use their translation and please support Zounose's official release and follow them on Twitter and Pixiv. __________________________
Normally it'd be "put the deceased to rest" instead of "at rest," but other than that, it's a good translation.
Isn't Komachi supposed to be on the run after absconding with Akyuu's spirit? Or maybe that's further down the timeline. Zounose has interesting ideas of continuity.
Good read, but I wouldn't say that burial rites are "created just to feed people's egos". Sure that can be in some cases but not all people are egotistic and they mostly do it genuinely out of respect and kindness like when a parent loses his or her child. I feel like the Author's just thinking of something against the status quo so that it becomes "thought-provoking" and thus deep. Still, it's a good to read.
