Agreed, that may be the direct translation from the original Chinese, but “mmmph” and variations thereof is better in conveying gagged noise in an English context.

Yea I agree, the woo woo noise is a result from the lack of direct translation sounds, since they author is chinese he uses sound characters.
To the non chinese it just sounds like a fucking train or something lmao.

Yes. When expressing gag noise in chinese, there's usuallly at least 1 vowel like o and u, comes with m and w, and i'm a bit confuse about this. That's why i didn't translate these sounds in the 1st chapter. I'm having a look at some eastern comic to improve further chapter translation
