This is pretty great. I think it would have been slightly better without the "materialism" aspect, and was instead just a bit "wholesome corruption" with enslavement of warrior elves, to create christmas elves, via merriment and joy.

Fighting the demon at the start, might have then also worked better if he was sneaking into their homes at night and abducting them, and not just a battle in the woods, which is not very santa.

I originally had this whole sub-story of why Santa is a giant demi-god monster that had to do with his power being tied to humanity and how the greed of the human world was twisting his nature, but it got cut when I didn't have enough time... I think if I were to do it again would definitely be down that wholesome warrior-to-happy elf kind of thing!
