That was their lesson from all of this. If Naoki had discussed his infertility early on, they could have solved this together. Instead, he avoided physical intimacy with Akiko for four years, which made her insecure as a woman and insecure in the marriage. If Akiko had discussed her feelings with Naoki, maybe things could've improved. Either way, an unfortunate situation, but a great series. I prefer cheating stories like this over the more base NTR stories authors usually write.

As I said in the previous chapter she could have avoided all this by being confrontational with her husband demanding changes if he wanted the marriage to continue. An ultimatum. If he wouldn't comply then they would have just divorced, she wouldn't have become adulterous scum, and he would have been paying her settlement money since she didn't work. Picking up where we left off, Akiko(FMC) began telling the story about his 3rd partner who according to her was the one who gave her the conviction to confess everything.

She met 3rd man 5 days ago. Her previous affair with the 2nd man definitely hit her hard. On one hand, she developed some level of fear after such experience, but at the same time the pleasure from that time was something she couldn't quite take her mind off of. Ultimately, she realized that her desire to "be wanted as a woman" was just an excuse she used for herself and now she has lost that excuse. And so, partially out of desperation she began looking for a new cheating partner once more.

We are introduced to the 3rd man, a gentleman who has been playing around with other women due to his sexless relationship with his wife. Her wife apparently approves of his actions. After their introductions to each other, 3rd Man took notice of Akiko's unnatural behavior. For instance, he noticed that she chose to meet up with him, her affair partner, in the middle of the day and not to mention on a seat right outside the window. He thought that perhaps she had experienced something scary/awful lately that's why she's a little too careless. Feeling that he's someone she can tell her story with, she began opening up about her affair with 2nd man. He was very receptive and understanding of her. She eventually even began telling him her full story all the way to why she's engaging in these affairs to begin with. After listening to her, 3rd Man told her straight up that she definitely made a mistake but not necessarily about her infidelity, but more so on the fact that she didn't speak to her husband about all of this she just told him. She cries as she agrees with his words. He hopes that she will eventually be able to tell her husband everything.

Having noticed how much time has passed, 3rd Man was about to part ways with Akiko when she stopped him. Without holding back, she told him that she wanted to have sex. That's what she came here for after all. It was her first time to voice out her own desire, but Chad 3rd Man didn't laugh at her. He simply patted her head and accepted her wish.

The two arrived at a hotel and began their deed. 3rd man was packing a big one down there, the biggest Akiko has ever encountered. Turns out, his size was the reason why his wife allowed him to play around with other women. He believes that sex is a way to exchange your feelings with your partner, but his situation with his overly blessed rod pushed sexual compatibility up on top of what's of importance to him. Anyway, the two continued their thing. 3rd Man was gentle as they go all the way and Akiko was drowning in pleasure. After his first shot, he told her that even after having done it with several other women, a woman as amazing as Akiko was a first to him. The two continued their deed in the bath. Normally, she would have gone home by now before her husband arrives from work but this time, she chose to keep going. As for why, even if this is the worst path she could take, she wants for her husband to at least notice it and if that were to happen, she had planned to confess everything from there. The two did it several more times after that until it was over.

Back to the present, Husband asked if that was the last of it. Turns out that after that, they had an extra bj round while in 3rd Man's car. Husband was in rage as he grabbed Akiko by her neck. She simply smiled as tears flowed fron her eyes. Husband let go of her and apologized. Akiko told him that he has nothing to apologize for but he disagreed. He then revealed to her that 4 years ago he found out that he's infertile. He took this one hard and deemed himself a failure of a man. He intended to keep this a secret from her until she has decided to give up on having children. Basically, him not wanting for her to know about his infertility was what caused their sexless relationship. After a brief moment of silence, Akiko began crying. She told him that if only he had told her about it right from the beginning, they could've possibly worked things out together. She then expressed her own regrets for focusing only on herself which led into her hurting him with her actions. She deeply apologized from the bottom of her heart.

Epilogue:
A year has passed since then, and we see the two meeting each other again. Akiko handed him an envelope containing the rest of the consolation money she has to pay him (Idk how divorce works in Japan exactly, but I think she's paying cuz her infidelity was the cause of the divorce.) Anyway, apparently it was Akiko herself who asked for the divorce. She did that so they could start over their own lives again separately. She apologized to him once again. He then asked her if she's free after this, but Akiko declined his offer and told him that she has to go back to work after this (she's on her work uniform btw). She gave him a final goodbye, wished him the best, and walked away. Lastly, we see her happily on the phone with someone. After a few while, she went to her contacts and deleted ex-husband off of it with tears on her eyes.

Afterword:
Again. Remember kids, don't marry someone who you cant talk about your problems to. Basically, that is what gave birth to the problem that this couple faced and I think this work really showed off a realistic portrayal of it.

But of course, it's natural for some of us to find the two's responses to their respective problems nonsensical. You might ask: "why on earth would you stop having sex with your wife just cuz you're infertile?" or "why would you decide to cheat on your husband multiple times just cuz he ain't giving you the D?" We can never know exactly how their train of thoughts were there but if anything, I think it's important to never forget that everyone has different levels of how much misfortune in life one can take in mentally and emotionally. Unfortunately, these two didn't have the best communication skills with each other and that made their situation even worse.

Anyway, I find the 3rd Man to be a very interesting character. One theory of mine is that he was in a similar situation with his wife paralleling that of Akiko's. He probably suffered knowing how their sexual incompatibility could potentially ruin their marriage. What he did differently though was that he talked to his wife about it and that's how he ended up having his wife's permission to do it with other women. And that's probably why he was able to understand and empathize for Akiko.

Another theory of mine is that he was the one Akiko was talking to on the phone in the epilogue. Akiko seems to be dressed as employee for a company which could likely be the 3rd Man's company. There aren't any actual info pointing to this but considering that these two had a very intimate time together, I personally consider it a possibility. But hey, who knows.

This manga was really good, this bittersweet ending was 9/10. Both of them were in the wrong, the husband should have talked to her about his infertility. That’s just next level, it proves she didn’t care about how her actions would hurt her husband.

I’m happy they broke up because the relationship wouldn’t have worked. She could have gotten toys, or talked to him about it, yet cheating was the 1st thing she thought of doing. If they had stayed together, she would have found any excuse to cheat on him again.
