crushfangXdagger you know, stuff gets leaked all the time.
Especially on here.
If the artists have a problem with it, it's their issue, not yours unless you know them personally.

Most people get well know through leaks and publicity.
This artist hasn't done comics before just art and collabs so I really do think they don't know of it.
But again, like movies get pirated, of course art.

It's the same.
It would be horrendous if the uploaded put that they are the artist or creator.

That's a completely different story.

I understand that things get leaked here, but damn give it some time. Not even a week has gone by. If the artist knows that things get leaked here. It will demoralize them from creating more content. Whats the point on leaking things if the artist will stop working on the comic completely?
Don't make the same mistake like what happened to Gamma_g

It's only two pages, and not even any of the good parts. They should have at least waited until it was finished.

@crushfanxdagger

Anyone who intends to draw art, and gets demoralized by it being widely circulated, is clearly not fit for being a pornographic artist. This isn't Japan. No one buys porn. Plus not many people are willing to pay for broken English comics with questionably unnecessary tragic beginnings that don't relate at all to the rest of the comic. Is it good? Yeah the art style is fantastic, the story is there it just needs revision.

If you wanna go full nazi, or full Onta and pretend to own every single piece of art and send DMCA requests to every single site that reposts it, go right ahead, you'll just vilify yourself. If you're sending out digital media, its impossible to stop it from being circulated. Will it stop people from subscribing to you? No, not really. Why? Because people who go to these sites aren't exactly running to patreon. People who pay for subscriptions are the type of people that always do it, the same type of people who sub to onlyfans and think donating to crappy kickstarter projects is a good investment. Everyone else, they go to places like this. So people should be thankful that their art is being circulated at all, it tells them that they're half decent and it will widely circulate and bring even more potential people to their patreon.

The only half practical way of luring in subs is allowing people to vote on characters and put in their characters or have some sort of creative say in the development. Other than that....so what if you get it a day earlier.

@crushfangXdagger it's also so laughable you defend
1 artist and put them on a pedestal of absolute respect while many other artists' works are posted on here and offsite
why don't you go defend them all and their paid work?
Why not go to every paid contend on e hentai and just tell people off
why just for Khai?

Some of these artist expect and know their stuff will be leaked, yet they are fine with it and not so anally hurt by things they can't control if the artist want to stop it's THEIR choice not yours.
Gamma_g has nothing to do with this you're just putting up a strawman to get pity for this artist. For your own favorites' sake

yeah like artists who make 7,000$ a month on patreon and submit barely one comic page a week. WOAH, must be real hard making nearly 6 figures from drawing, having to deal with piracy. People who PAY for porn, do so because thats the type of people they are. They want that close artist connection, to support the artwork, how on earth does ANYONE know that the artist exists at all exactly? Through shared content, through free content. The battle of piracy is fought and lost by multi-billion dollar companies who make movies and music, if your content can be shared, its going to be pirated, full stop. So, work with it, not against it, all it does it alienate your fans for acting like they're crooks.

Like that nonsense with piracy now, people used to share movies and dvds all the time before the internet, did anyone cry piracy for borrowing a friends video games or movies? No. It's the same basic principle except they have a physical copy. Does anything change? No, they're still experiencing the same exact media. No one's making money off of it. There are tons of successful artists out there that do just fine, they work their asses off, get a popular reputation and charge top dollar. Do they have a little cry when their stuff is shared, no. Why? Because the people who share, and go to look for free content, aren't the one's who are going to buy their shit to begin with. They have no loss. If this comic wasn't here, no one would think twice about his patreon and yet, we're all talking about it.

I took the time to fix the guys broken english, should I expect to get paid for it? No. should I offer a DMCA if he took it and edited it into his official comic?

The more people cry about copyrights the more I think its just a ploy for the artist to get more attention and sympathy. "Oh woe is me, people not paying me for my art, its as if my parents warned me that art is a poor mans job that requires massive amounts of time and dedication to make a living."

You want people to pay for your content? Auctions...how about fucking patreon rewards, no artists bother with that, congrats you get content a month earlier. -slow clap- how about some rewards that allow you to be put into a raffle where your character (upon review) is featured in a site, or you're allowed to add in a scene. That's how all the successful artists keep patreons, raffles, votes, allowing fans to dictate content. You don't get patreons unless you're selling something and you can't keep it privet, so you might as well make it public. Demoralizing? Welcome to the world of art. Where 99% of humanity can't draw for shit, but want to make a living off it. It should be a passion project, not a job.

I do agree with Wolfe. Charing content Is the main way to getting followers. Giving them something that they desire is the way to keep them.

As an example graynussle started sensoring his artwork and making the uncensored pay only. That lost him tons and tons of followers.

The best example is Vacacung. Pay what u want. When a bundle is released. The artist asks for a week to make something and then release as you see fit as long as the credit is given.

Paywalling does not help at all. It works against an artist
Then take fuf. There are still about 80 pages on patreon that aren't published for free yet. But it is released steadily and above that are constant interactions with her public with creating characters and what they would do making it fun to be a patreon.
