I'm stuck in the MidWest so I thought anime maid cafes was just a trope! I wonder if going to one would be fun or just really embarrassing. Would the women that worked there think you were just a creep/pervert?

Hmm, I wonder if this means another type of cafe I heard about is real? Man or woman can supposedly go to a cafe to help with lonliness. You rent a spot and someone of your preferred gender will hang out with you for a certain amount of time. All takes place at the cafe and the farthest the person can go is a cuddle or snuggle, if the person you "rented" is okay with that.

I really just thought it was all made up!

I know Hiro has both feet planted in Dense Protagonist but how did he 1) not know what paizuri was if he was aware of anime cafes and commented on anime tropes in the past two chapters and 2) not figure out it wasn't a drink when Janelle was still mentioning it when she was getting him out?

The panel of them both marching inside while both chanting "Pai-Zu-Ri!" was hilarious and cute, though.
