...Incommode?

Author probably speak french or some latin tongue, the way its written it feel like he tried to translate ''Y paraitrait que ce film est incommodant'' which fit the theme, but didn't realize incommode isn't actively used in spoken english, so it feel off to english readers. Like he checked what was the equivalent in english on google, ''incommode'' came out and he went along not realizing its barely used in spoken english.

Edit: Seem like the author is Carribean, so he could be from one of the old french colonies or speak a variant of localized pigdin.
