I'm glad to see Twisted Toon Tales 9 is a return to the series' roots. After the success of Tales 1 and 2, they tried some new things with 3 that alienated the old fan base without bringing in new blood. 4 tried too hard to recapture the magic, but 5 managed to strike a good balance of fan service and new ideas. 6-8 was all over the place-- studio meddling, artistic experimentation, the writers' strike, Covid-19-- but this is a nice return to form. Lots of subtle shout-outs to longtime fans.
