@TheWriteFiction In case it wasn't obvious, that was just a joke, just pointing out how hilariously off-putting it is to see ANY main character acknowledge a normal weapon that can harm them does exist, especially someone like Vegeta XD

@Renan Wilheart - Well, after getting his spirit broken by Frieza, his arms broken by Android 18, his spine broken by Perfect Cell and his self-confidence broken by Gohan's ascension and Goku's selfless sacrifice, it's about time he's learned to step back when faced with a new, unknown factor. This Vegeta has GROWN to be a bit more cautious. He did have that outburst earlier, but he's had plenty of time to think on his enraged flight over.

I for one, am quite enjoying this illustrated fanfic. Even if there is no sex in it. I like seeing Gohan continue on as a proper protagonist like he should have following his big win at the Cell Games. And the rest of the Z Fighters upping their game along with him.

I'm interested in seeing how the shuffled fights against Bojack's Galaxy Soldiers go.

DBZA's genre-savvy Piccolo breaks down movie villain henchmen into three archtypes - the big stupid one, the pretty one, and the one with the weird power.

While canon Zangya would normally be 'the pretty one', since Kogu gets iced early, the fact that she was given a new sympathetic backstory means she's marked for the redemption path.

That leaves Bido as the big stupid one, Kogu as the pretty one, and Bujin and his wires as the guy with the weird power.

I don't like Bido's chances against Trunks. He's basically the brute strength guy but that goes out the window once Trunks remembers he can go super saiyan. Bojack might have to step in on this one.

18 vs Kogu could be more interesting. Kogu has the 'hera' transformation in his back pocket BUT there's no telling how much energy and power the transformation eats up. 18 will have to rely on the stamina provided by her Infinity Engine and endure Kogu's onslaught in order to outlast him like she did against Vegeta.

Krillin's in a tough spot and got caught off guard by Bujin's wires. Hopefully he can get free and make things a little more interesting since he has his own fair share of innovative techniques that might be able to help him turn the tide. Also, the fact that he ISN'T fighting the pretty girl works in his favor since he won't be worried about going all out.

And finally there's Gohan vs Zangya. That first meeting on page 24 made DBZA kid Gohan's "I need an adult" catchphrase echo in my mind. But this comic is clearly centered on character development as opposed to gratuitous sex (plus his mother's watching) so I can see this one ending with Gohan following in his father's footsteps by showing mercy on a rival after an epic battle that completely alters the rival's character alignment.
