The Mars Volta's storybook included with the vinyl 'Deloused in the Comatorium', written by Cedric Bixler Zavala with help from Jeremy Michael Ward (the physical book includes the authors on the front cover, but this digital reproduction doesn't for some reason).

The story begins with the protagonist, Cerpin Taxt, an artist and drug addict above an overpass about to commit suicide and goes on to describe the morphine overdose that takes him into the Comatorium.
