It does seem strange, but I think it's because the magazine pages are often larger than the tankoubon. My quick dig didn't find anything about this series specifically, but to use another series as an example: girls forM magazines are 257mm x 182mm, but a tankoubon made off a work from there is only 210mm x 148mm

I like how all the women have different motivations. They aren't just falling in love with him but doing it for different reasons. He technically does have a harem but it's more of a giggalo type of thing instead of love.

That being said the ending feels kind of off in the sense that nothing with the main girl's story really suggests she's the type that'd actually get married to him. She's more the "we're above marriage/love I'm forever your slave" type of character. While there's hints the other girl Himari actually is in love with him and slides into the mistress role. So maybe flip those roles and this feels more organic so to speak. Feels like it's a "The two main characters have to be together" type of ending you see get forced in so many H and non-H works.
