Beautiful and romantic, just as one would expect from this artist.

This was beautiful. No oversized cocks, No forced/blackmail or negative action. Truly a beautiful story. If the artist were to ever see this comment, I would ask for only one thing even if the story is great where it ended. I would ask for a short epilogue story. One that shows them after they had surgery and having their successful business.

...is it really dickgirl when the characters are just crossdressing the entire way through?

@CuriousBlackCat it's a story about two persons understanding their gender and understanding they are transwomens. It's dickgirl.

"Dickgirl" implies the presence of breasts (and vagina depending if it's also a futanari) and it's not so much that they come to the realization that they are trans as they decide that it would be easier to pose as a lesbian couple than a transvestite couple, like literally, that's what is written in second-last page:
- "Lesbians are more accepted than transvestites. Yes, we'll promote ourselves as lesbians."

Which is honestly kind of a sad thing, don't you think? That these two would go out of their way to get surgery to pose as lesbians, because it's easier than to remain as transvestites.

Anyways, on top of that, wasn't the rule "Tag what you see"? I would have let the dickgirl tag slide IF there was any kind of dickgirl (boobs and dick) in the comic, but there isn't. Feminization? Yeah, that's there in droves. Gender change? Iffy, but the MC's slowly changing mindset does count imho, even if there's no physical change that characterises this tag in other comics.

Edit: @TheDragonRider instead of simply downvoting what you don't agree with, do us all a favour and actually type out why you don't see it my way and try and convince me. I'm open to discussion fam, that's literally why I've been asking and citing things that can be looked up, rather than making statements without backing. Give me sources and a properly written argument that addresses what I've brought up.

This was really beautiful to read

@CuriousBlackCat
I don't like the word dickgirl or shemale since they're both way too fetishistic and this story didn't read as fetish fuel, just a LGBT story. (Male) Crossdressing is men dressing up in women's clothes. Both of the characters here want to see themselves as women, and they see each other as women. Feminine pronouns is used to refer to the characters. Crossdressing doesn't apply here because the characters weren't written to be men.

Dickgirl is made of two words, "girl" and "dick". Both of the characters here are women, and they have dicks. Cis women may also have flat chests but that doesn't stop them from being women.

The LGBT community also includes Gay and Transvestites, which they both are more accurately, and again, from the comic itself, they both decide to take the plunge towards presenting more and more as women, tits and all, because it's more socially acceptable to look like a pair of lesbians than being a gay crossdressing couple. So honestly speaking, I still have reservations on them being legitimately trans in the first place, but that's not why I have my reservations of the tag and its shenanigans.

The rule of the site is literally "Tag what you see" not "Tag what you feel like is going on", I do not see ANY of the female tags happening in story given that aren't either already covered by a male tag or that are just not happening at all, especially "dickgirl on dickgirl". There are other crossdressing manga/doujin/comics on this site that have male characters who present and refer to themselves as female, but they aren't tagged as such because they aren't female (ie they don't have a vagina and/or the tits that would warrant the "shemale", "dickgirl on .... ", or "futanari" tags).

Plus, your dislike of the "dickgirl" / "shemale" tags isn't noteworthy in this conversation as it has me wondering why the incorrect tags by the rules of the site (a mostly adult / porn / fetish site at that) are being supported, especially given how my initial question and reply were both downvoted by the same user who has yet to speak their piece.

Now that I've said my piece on the topic I brought up, now for something a little personal.

Seriously speaking, that little comment of flat women was a little insulting to me, did you really assume that I didn't know flat women existed? There's a reason why I brought up tits as one of the qualifiers of the "dickgirl on dickgirl" and "shemale" tags, without them, the male characters wouldn't be able to qualify for those tags as for "shemales" at least, without tits they are nothing more than a "tomgirl" according to the tag rules and without "shemale" then "dickgirl on dickgirl" can't be true either.

What I asked is nothing more than a simple logic check "Why are there female tags when I can see nothing in the comic that supports it?" is what I'm asking. Make no mistake, I've read other manga/doujin/comics in the same vein that have all been correctly tagged, but likewise, I've read similarly mistagged stuff and every time I've asked, it's always the same thing, people downvoting the question without answering or people saying what they _felt_ was going on not what was actually in the pages. This isn't about identity politics either, those tags are there to help people find the manga/doujin/comic or avoid it if they aren't into what is tagged, and mistagging harms more than it helps. That's all there is to it.
