@severalGB Warning - spoilers for Alix: Book of Lust. In that comic, Dave was recruited into an organisation that deals with supernatural shit. I think the whole thing with Fanny, her old bully and him in this comic was just a mental projection caused by the hostile psychic on the last page.

Going to hazard a guess the whole thing with the bully was indeed something he did in the past and it caused her to leave, something he feels deep regret for. Would make sense why some of it is from her perspective and his tone completely changes if the more 'monstrous' behavior is how he sees the action now. Easy enough to manipulate too and why he's begging for her to come back despite them still being a couple clearly at the start of the comic.

@lightningbarer well any time Carly was using her preferred pronouns it was dripped in sarcasm, and yeah i picked up on her still using them in private but that speaks to Carly not actually believing that Fanny is a boy.
