Yeah, the Japanese title is the official name, you can still buy them and his other works from ddbooks if you google the name. I have most of his games, I stopped buying once he started drawing awfully. He made amazing stuff up until like 2012. I'll upload his other games soon

Hi Haigui, thanks for the upload. I had been long waiting for the release of "魔女が用いる鉄槌" but my credit card was unusable in dd-style.com (and also some japanese e-shops which I have no clue if that is restrictions on payment by overseas credit cards). It would be even better if you can upload the actual game (which i believe is not big in file size, should be just around 100MB). I have literally the complete collection of this creator (はあばあと西, circle name "毒電波新聞社"), including those "mediocre" games that released after his peak (after 2010 or so), and some mini games exclusive to his fanbox supporters. はあばあと西 has been confirmed by his friend on November last year (2021) that he passed away on 29 October, I doubt any future purchase on dd-style.com will go to the family of the creator, or any uploading of his works will do any damage to him.

@ingramli Whoa, I didn't know he passed away. I don't even think out of all the artists I follow, that I've known anyone to have passed away until now. I'll try uploading the games as well, where would be a good place to share them? I'm not sure if I'll be successful since my hard drive literally just went into a coma as I was trying to upload the rest of the games I have, but if I recover it then I will definitely make sure his art doesn't disappear.

@Haigui I am no expert in file sharing, but I do saw folks share games using various file servers, such as google drive, KatFile, RoseFile, MexaShare, mega.nz and etc. (personally I dont like RapidGator as many files hosted on it are only accessible to premium users), you can try out which one suit you the best. Not meant to advertising (let me know if it is not allowed and I will remove it) but you may want to share the uploads on anime-sharing.com ( http://www.anime-sharing.com/forum/extreme-content-83/ ), just make sure you clearly mention "Guro/R18G warning" in the heading to avoid someone who click it by mistakes.

If you can use your PC as file server, you can also consider using torrent sharing (by uploading torrent on https://sukebei.nyaa.si/upload , which I believe is the best place for hentai resources).

I am not 100% sure, however, as Haigui mentioned, that was something happened around 2012 or so, that is 9 years before he passed away. Also, instead of "deteriorated", I would consider that a dramatic controversial change in style (which most of the guro lovers of his work do not welcome the change), therefore I would say it is unlikely to be related to health issues.

As you can see, the change in style was very significant, the older one was closer to a hand drawn work and the later one rely more on software processing, just my two cents.

Yeah, I don't know what the details are, but his work used to be 100% hand drawn, as you can see in his old att.ne.jp gallery. Then he started introducing some software shading/editing. I loved his software edited ones, it gave so much detail to his art, then at some point it just became really weird. I honestly think he just rushed his work and didn't really want to put more effort into it. His old works used to have detailed uniforms and clothing, that was what I really liked. His newer ones only had naked/barely clothed outfits for the most part. He stopped drawing slender bodies as well, the newer ones having insanely thicc women.

I'm honestly just very sad he passed away, even though I didn't like any of his later work at all, it felt like someone close passed away, because I used to be absolutely addicted to his art. Up until now, there are ZERO artists that has his same style/niche. It's quite odd if you'd ask me, military and gore seems to go hand-in-hand, yet there's only about 2-4 artists that draw military guro, and I've scoured over all of pixiv.

I'm going to upload all of his galleries and games eventually when I retrieve the data in my HDD (I REALLY hope it's not dead) because his work truly is one of a kind.

Also, if anyone's ever understood Japanese and played his games, could they tell me if the girls could be saved or not, or is every choice that they die? Even though I enjoy guro, I don't enjoy it when the girls die.

guro is a niche genre on it own, and military guro is a sub genre under an already niche category, so yes, there are not much out there. For the perserve of はあばあと西' work, I double checked my collection, I literally got the complete collection with only 2 exceptions,

血の神楽 惨劇編 (a fandisk of 血の神楽)
魔女が用いる鉄槌 (which you shared the cg set)

If you hdd is failing, I would suggest you to pull the two items above first, for the others, if your hdd actually failed, I may send you by email or put it on file server whatever.

For the stories, I can read like 95% without relying on translations (with a few exceptions on technical/historical terms which I dont have a clue even in my mother language), for the most part of stories, there are no "survival route" for those herorine, just how they are killed, except for a few bad ends which could be avoided (such as harakiri [切腹] of executioner's assistant in 冬の迷路, which is a "IF" scenario rather than the "official history").

@ingramli I unfortunately don't have the fandisk of 血の神楽, my HDD is still in a coma and I'm waiting on my new HDD, but it would be great if you could upload it somewhere in case I find out that my HDD is unrecoverable. Worse case I'll probably fork some cash over and re-buy all the doujins, they're just that worth it, out of the 1000s of guro artists I've seen, he's #1 for me. I'm honestly jealous of people who are big fans of people like sparrow or shadbase, there's never enough content.

Also that sucks that most of them die... I'm tempted to use some translation software/romanjifier just to understand the story, since I only can't read kanji. The OST for most of the games are also actually weirdly unique/good.

Honestly military r34 isn't even very popular, it's usually just naked girls with a peaked cap, which is hilarious. Do you know of any consistent artist who draws military guro or r34 that's similar in style/niche? Out of all of pixiv I only know dutchko (20150991) and dormicum (53003675) who draws similarly. Then there's the occasional cyp or 2-3 pics that some artists releases. Erica (4759263) pumps out pictures like crazy but they're all non-erotic. I'm honestly just baffled by how there's only a few consistent military artists.
