A collection of all salvageable works by artist Juan Puyal, who, while known for his extensive work on teen romance comics from the late 1950s - 1970s, is also known for his fetish illustrations. I undertook this preservation on a commission from an anonymous client who shares my same love for Puyal, and they were able to provide me images that they wanted upscaled/cleaned alongside asking me to include some from my own archives.
These images are all from the web and from old, defunct archives. Juan Puyal released a book of his illustrations, but it was limited to 700 copies and is scarce as of now. Juan's work as a comic illustrator makes for some of the most beautiful, unique, and extremely tasteful fetish content, coming after such greats such as Gene Bilbrew and Eric Stanton. Juan Puyal was a major source of inspiration to the illustrator Sardax, and while their works are quite different in theme, the vividness of Puyal's fetish content is evident in some ways.
Juan Puyal does not have an internet presence anymore and his website is now defunct; we suspect that he has since retired from his craft after such a fruitful career and he's up in age (he was born in the mid 1930s!), so me and my client wanted to collaborate on a commission to preserve what works we could of Puyal's.
I have categorized all images and cleaned them all to my best ability based on the year they were created, themes, and context. Juan was a busy illustrator who had major output over his career, and while there is a lot of content we could not salvage (many of Puyal's images were saved in .GIF format for old web2 blogs back in the day), there are tons of comics and books Juan illustrated for under his full name, Juan Sole Puyal, that are SFW and hard to come by. Some images were upscaled with AI, but this is a curated selection all the same of what shows Juan's spirit the most. Juan's illustrations range from femdom, wrestling, feminization, and cuckolding.

Page 1 - Juan's rare example of a commissioned illustration that was not for commercial use; its the only one on the web as of now that has been documented.
Pages 2 - 48 are all of Juan's essential Femdom themed works and are curated from the 1980 - early 2000s mark.
Pages 49 - 70 are all of Juan's rather rare full color paintings, many of which were done for Sandy Thomas' crossdressing/feminization stories. Some pieces have corresponding sketches and the supplemental image from the same story.
Pages 71 - 83 are all of Juan's wrestling themed pieces that could be found online at the moment that were in decent quality. Juan initially started in the early 80s illustrating for a women's wrestling themed fetish magazine, most of which had lesbian themed wrestling scenes or hetero femdom ones before the latter publication, 'Madame in a World of Fantasy', contracted him.
Pages 84 - 95 are Juan's misc illustrations that, while fetish themed, are unique all in their own. One off's for publications and headers, etc.
Pages 96 -104 feature Juan's artistic process, his thoughts behind creating, as well as all works where he has super imposed himself as the submissive in the BDSM/femdom scene. Juan also created some works for personal use, though these pieces were often sent with letters to clients in the fetish community. Most of the women in these scenes are parodies on character types he used as well as his wife.
Pages 105 - 127 feature Juan's more tailored pieces for Sandy Thomas and other trans writers of the day, featuring in depth images of revisions, illustrations, and concept art even for projects that never happened among finished works.
