Self-imposed timer I guess. I have shelved too many personal projects that took too long of a time to finish.

No one is hurrying you up. Average coomer will eat up anything, but it's better if a year or two after now you'll look back at these works and not have any guilt or shame about them.

That's probably the right way to do it. But since I've been eyeing up some works for more than a decade and they still haven't been touched, I just thought. "Might as well."
If they got deleted/replaced, then that's that. If even just a single person got a kick from them and they don't turn into forgotten bytes in my drive, then it's a plus in my book. You could say the only guilt I'm feeling is why I didn't learn the language sooner (well at least for the past few years so far).

Well if they weren't touched yet then they're probably won't get touched any time soon. I'd know, that's the shit i'm working on. No one's rushing you mate and seeing a good work done pleases both audience and you.
