Chill out a bit, it's not the end of the world. It's true that a reclass would have been better, but to correct you a bit: A child gallery cannot have its category changed if its parent gallery is public, and may only be changed by reclassing using the category tags. That isn't to say making a second gallery is better, a reclass is still the correct method.
