Is there some kind of in-depths lore about all this? I really like the overall concept.

@lixiana there is both an newly created wiki full of the lore and other stuff that Omega has created for the universe, as well as a really great supporters discord where lore discussions and other stuff happen. Here's a link to the wiki if you're interested https://wiki.machinamaincluster.com/index.php/Language_Selection It's in English, Korean, and Japanese.

Looking at the support tiers on patreon, it doesn't appear there's a way to get access to all past images. I was about to throw some money their way. But I really hate it when artists hide their old stuff like that, since I like to hoard and back up everything. Especially since that means that some day their stuff CAN and WILL disappear.

(Yes, I get the rationale that early supporters get less "value" if they get the same level of access. But if I support something it's because I like what they're doing and would like to see more, not because I want to be a part of some exclusive club.)

Is that just me mis-reading what's said there? I can tell English isn't their first language.

But with that said, from what I can see, it looks like a neat idea. It's a shame about all of these other things.

From what I understand Omega has been removing their old stuff to try to stop people from uploading all of the paywalled stuff to sites like this, you can still get a lot of stuff from https://omegaprocessor.gumroad.com/ (really should have mentioned that). From what I understand it has nothing to do with early vs late supporters.

Also English is not his first language so he normally runs things by a native English speaker he knows. Sadly neither of them are professional translators so some things are not properly translated.

@Woolo69 Waw there's even a wiki?! Thank you so much, sadly i cant access these types of paid contents so it's nice to have a way to see everything (or at least most) lore related.

As has already been said, I was ready to jump on board for this, but was discouraged when it seemed doubtful that there would be an easy way to browse older content. That hurts because this is exactly the sort of thing that makes me want to archive binge and get as deep into a setting as I possibly can.

I know just enough about art to know that these are all time-consuming, high-quality renders. The effort that went into making each and every one of these is not lost on me, so I can appreciate the artist wanting to be compensated for such an enormous time investment.

But I'm not down to pay the 120+ dollars it would take to see the whole corpus of work that exists depicting an admittedly very cool looking setting.

If anyone who is a supporter can clarify for me: does becoming a supporter give you access to even a lower-res gallery of everything? I would be totally okay with that. I don't want gigs of PSD files, I just want to see the whole world. I'm doubtful, but just thought I'd ask since there was some ambiguity with the patreon tiers description.

Thanks in advance.

Edit: took a 4 dollar risk, you can see a lot of older stuff but not everything. More than I thought, less than I hoped. Still good.

While it's unlikely to happen, I really hope people will upload more of platinum/omega's full works in the future since their art is good, but I really don't like how most of it is hidden behind a paywall.
