This brings up massive questions. Isn't David totally cybernetic by the time Rebecca starts crushing on him? In the game, the show, and in the Red board game, braincases have no organs below the head. And with the way Cyberpunk's universe works if there was an egg and sperm freezing system it'd cost insane amounts of money. And hospitals, when you go into labour, those'd put you in so much debt you'd be a Miltech or Arasaka drone for the rest of your life.

They're gonna have to jack a lot more limos to pay for that kid.

@NightNeverFades Considering the deathrate in the Cyberpunk universe, there has to be a birthrate to counteract it. And making childbearing more expensive would lower the birthrate drastically. And really, would it be that hard, or non-profitable, to invent/develop/produce fully-functional artificial reproductive organs for any braincase with the money to pay for them? (not 'freezing', artificial implants that actually produce living sperm/eggs) Heck, you could have multiple pay levels for different levels of genetic tinkering to the sperm/eggs (default being your own/some rando's genes, with increasing cost for increasing idealization). Supply and demand for artificial groins would find a balance point with necessary population maintenance and thus you'd have a stable system.

Otherwise population would fall so much that most of the dystopian elements of Cyberpunk would stop working. You'd fall into a state where most of the city didn't have anyone in it. Hard to be a garbage-strewn nightmare when nobody's there to make garbage.
