If you're trying to do size stuff, its no use having your characters say "oh no im shrinking" unless the viewer has a frame of reference. Sure, you got the hands/finger on pages 5, 6, 9, 11 and 12. But its a poor frame of reference and it doesn't even appear to stay consistent. For growth/shrink stuff, background art is a must. Even if it's something generic, as long as we get a consistent frame of reference for the character's size and how it's changing, otherwise you're leaving too much up to the reader's imagination.
