After unknowingly drinking several does of a new formula created by Dr. Merten's to create hucows early on in her mission, we soon witness Detective Brown outgrowing her wardrobe /s/2c49f61b83/1455383-103 and increasingly assuming the proportions of a hucow. Then there is Sadie /s/45b6221baa/1684694-21 who is the main character is volumes 3, 5 and 7. She is a friend of the person formerly known as Dr. Kari Werners (now #69), who unlike her friend or the former Detective Brown (now #70) is a willing volunteer for Dr. Mertens' bovine-human DNA experiments meant to create hucows without the same cognitive decline that was experienced by our two former protagonists. The experimental treatment had the desired effect albeit with some loss of cognitive capacity for subjects but not before Sadie had consented to become Hucow #169 /s/3fad3f1d3e/2116350-159. Prior to joining the herd however Sadie is sent on a surprise vacation with her sister Serena /s/fe3f83b7fb/2311086-4 in volume 7. Serena is so impressed with the new size of her sisters breasts that she agrees to try some samples of a body enhancement pill Dr. Mertens gave to Sadie that allow subjects to temporarily experience the effects of being a hucow /s/dba24225aa/2311086-21.
