I actually chuckled at the guards around Celestia and Luna on page 15. You can see the artist stop after the left-most guard, think "Wait, why am I spending so much time drawing abs on the men?", and then the other faceless guards get less muscles, less shading, less detail.

Probably would've been better to just copy-paste and change maybe a couple things for the guards. They all have the same skin color and generic look already.

That said, though, even I can tell the art in general is improving from previous comics.

Two possible reasons:
1. He's still resisting the effects of the changes, so his changes are limited to the part of him that is failing to resist. If this is the reason, then now that he's given in and we can see mental changes happening for him, we should start to see him beefcake-up in a similar fashion to the ladies. This is a familiar pattern in the written works, from what I remember.
2. Same reason I'm assuming the royal guards didn't get much definition beyond the first one drawn. The artist does this for the women, and doesn't want to spend too much time on the men. Hopefully, if this is the reason, he'll still give Spike the same treatment by the end of the comic, because logically the physical changes should not stop at his genitalia.

Amen, brother.
They are Royal Guards, after all. They may be incompetent at actual guarding, by they should look like Fabulous Custodes at the least - for that is their real job. Last three look a bit more like PaltBlurtMalComp, or however that creature is called, with chubs and all. Overexaggeration, yes - but not so much as to be in the reductio ad absurdum area, unfortunately. Thouse abs are most certainly not in the realm of excessive details. An understandable decision to save the time on artist's part, but regrettable nonetheless.

An option, possibly, would've been just vague shadowy contours implying abs instead of detailed drawings - Guards are not the focus of the scene, after all, the Royals are. Saves time, and creates desirable effect. However, given the median level of detalis in the comic in general... Eh, don't know.

Rarity almost seems like she was behind the whole thing. Spike and Twilight noticed but couldn’t stop it, Pinkie is Pinkie, but Rarity definitely seemed like she was trying to influence certain behaviors and body types for everyone.

I know it's not likely but I hope they do a sequel to this story... I want to see celestia and luna's bimbo form... or what if the change only happens if spike is around.. I'd love to see celestia and luna's bimbo transformations... even cadence's transformation... again I doubt it will happen but it could be fun if it did... I'd buy a patron subscription to see that story. imagine spike ordering bimbo celestia and luna to twerk for him lol... where a few pages before they were acting so posh and regal...
