The possession thing is interesting, but I do not like the idea of the brainwashing to mind control her, as it makes everything easier, maybe it becomes too easy with no drawbacks at all. The artwork, on the other hand, is fairly good.

I understand if you do a rough translation on a 5 year old upload since nobody will ever translate it but using MTL on a recent upload like this will kill any new doujin getting a proper TL.
Having to compete speed wise with a MTL will cause some groups to quit.

I wonder if this was a secret ploy to get someone to post a better translation... Like they say, the best way to get an answer to a question on the internet is not to just ask a question, but to post the wrong answer and someone will correct you. Maybe the same works for translating, where posting a bad translation will make someone produce a better one out of irritation? :)

I wonder if someone posted a perfect translation of something, like an "original author approved" level of quality, excellent typesetting etc, but labeled it "Polished MTL", if it would still get voted into the ground just due to the MTL title/tag or if enough people would be able to tell the difference and appreciate the quality. How many people see "MTL" and vote 1 without even really reading the work.

The "Re-write" title/tag probably would have a similar effect... downvotes even if it was actually the original story/dialogue/text.

Understandable tho, wanting to keep the overall quality of content on this site high.

It deserved to be downvoted the way it did with how bad the quality was originally, but I wanted to be honest in the title that it was originally MTL. This is my first time on the site and didn’t really know how things work here, so me going back and reworking translations/mistakes that people pointed out for me was very helpful. With this being a new doujin, I understand why it’s important to have the correct translation, and to leave it to people who can actually translate properly. That being said, I did my best with the rework or “polished” so I hope everyone is a bit more satisfied with the result.
