Since you aren't releasing separate ENG and JP galleries, keeping the different languages in contiguous blocks would be better than releasing the galleries with raws and translations interposed like this. It's a much nicer browsing experience if all the images in one language come in a neat group, so you can keep going to the next image in your language by clicking next.
