Wow, this is genuinely rancid. From the translation, to the proofreading, to the cleaning, to the typesetting, every single aspect of this translation is just absolute garbage to the extent that I'm doubting if someone could do this and consider it a genuine effort.
When inaccurate or sloppy translations are done for doujins, it is less likely that they will be professionally translated in the future. Poor and sloppy translations hurt the doujin and the artist. Sorry if this is harsh.
Hi, I think I can help you in a better version of this translation, I really want to see this story in good conditions. If you want give me a Discord ID or anyway to contact you.
The only reason I could read this at all is because I understand some Japanese, and could tell what parts were messed up in what ways. And sometimes it really is super simple shit, not even excusable with ESL. The lack of understanding of how any context works suggests to me that you just put this into Google Translate one sentence at a time or something.
As just one of the many examples, on Page 5 he's like "I can become one [a nurse]". This likely comes from "nareru yo!" or sth, which just means "can become". and anyone with a brain can tell that he's OBVIOUSLY cheering HER on, that SHE can become one! How do you even fuck that up??? But of course Google Translate wouldn't know the context, so that could just be it.
It's not even an explanation for everything though. On page 3 she's obviously saying "ah, you're that guy from the class next door!" "tonari no kurasu no". And there's no way Google wouldn't have gotten that one correct! what do we get?? "The one next to him (who????), the one from the (which??) crass(?????????)" Bro, this is WORSE than just google translating every sentence!
I don't know what happened here, but do better. It's especially sad since the story seemed quite interesting.
