An honest question to everyone (especially translators), accuracy is key but how accurate is to accurate that it becomes restrictive?

I.e. how do you determine a middle ground between word for word and 4-kids level idiocy?

I say this because while I don't understand Japanese (English is enough of a mind fuck anyway), I noticed with some other Hololive doujins, that the translators leave out some of the catch phrases/mannerisms of the girls, and it feels a little lifeless.

E.g. here on pages 3, and 25 the "I'm horny" could have been substituted got the point across, plus be a wink and a nod to the meme. There was also a Kronii douin where the "gwak" could have been used but wasn't.

Tldr: Why doesn't she say "I'm horny," and am I overthinking this minor point in an h-doujin?

1. Pg3: She said "。。。えっちしたい", which is closer to " I want to fuck....", than "I'm horny....".
Pg25: She”終わったらえっちなことができる”, which translates to "We can do sexy things after I'm done(with work)."
Using "I'm horny" in both cases would just become a mistranslation.

Tbh the "I'm horny~" phrase is just an outdated obnoxious meme casual English-only viewers who don't understand JP nor actually watch Marine's regular content perpetuate. Adding that phrase will just make it sound lifeless and trite instead.
